"Our review process for selecting a web development company to update our website was quite extensive. Updating a site that has been in use for over six years and is an integral operating tool for our 3600 members is a special responsibility unlike developing a brand new site. Our members expect the site to behave and operate in a certain fashion and tolerate very little error. At the same time we were under a strict deadline to complete the project in a short time to accommodate the demands of sponsors who where funding the redo. The choice of vendor was crucial in completing the project against these project management drivers—quality, cost and time.

From the first meeting with Volta we understood that they understood what we needed and were confident that they could deliver. Nonetheless, we did our due diligence, checked numerous references and requested that they speak with retiring web developer so he could assess their skills. Concurrently, we were closely evaluating two other web development companies. The final decision was between two, very competent web development companies—a good place to be.
